Job Description
Corporate Affairs strategy director advancing AI, analytics, measurement, and operational excellence for BeOne Medicines, a global oncology company developing affordable cancer treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the evolution of a high-performing, insight-led global Corporate Affairs function
- Partner with the Head of Global Corporate Affairs Strategy, Analytics & Insights to translate strategy into execution
- Lead strategic planning processes, including AOP and LRP
- Manage the Corporate Affairs Impact Intelligence framework across regions and functions
- Coordinate Corporate Affairs goals and deliverables within enterprise-wide initiatives and cross-functional planning cycles
- Manage key milestones and governance touchpoints
- Lead execution of the Corporate Affairs AI roadmap
- Lead the Corporate Affairs AI Task Force
- Standardize and scale AI-enabled workflows, tools, prompts, and best practices globally
- Establish AI measurement, governance, and performance frameworks
- Drive integration of data, workflows, measurement systems, and feedback loops to enable automated insights and scenario planning
- Translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights
- Prepare and present insight-driven briefings and reports for leadership and senior executives
- Gather intelligence on stakeholder perceptions, emerging issues, and communication effectiveness
- Define and evolve KPIs and success measures linking Corporate Affairs activity to business impact
- Support global Corporate Affairs performance reporting and strategic storytelling
- Establish periodic business reviews and leadership updates
- Manage operational workstreams of key partners in the LMIC patient access program
- Embed data-driven storytelling into thought leadership and reputation management
- Operationalize strategic initiatives, process improvements, capability builds, and change adoption
- Connect regions and workstreams to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and consistency
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Corporate Affairs, Communications, Public Affairs, Patient Advocacy, or related experience within the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sector
- Experience supporting global or multi-regional organizations
- Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives involving AI, analytics, and emerging technologies
- Ability to evaluate emerging AI tools and translate them into scalable capabilities, processes, and ways of working
- Proven track record driving technology adoption through governance, change management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional partnership
- Experience designing and leading enterprise measurement frameworks, operating models, strategic planning processes, or organizational transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of external stakeholder, policy, regulatory, and reputational landscapes shaping global biopharmaceutical companies
- Ability to influence senior executives and build alignment across highly matrixed organizations
- Experience presenting to executive leadership teams and contributing to Board-level reporting and strategic discussions
- Experience managing operational and financial processes, including annual planning, forecasting, governance, resource allocation, and budget oversight
- Familiarity with digital analytics tools, visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau, and AI-enabled insights
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Approximately 10% travel
