Job Description
Director, HEOR Product Lead developing and executing health economics and outcomes strategies at Novartis. Focus on delivering optimal access for prioritized assets with a dynamic market environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and delivers winning HEOR strategy and tactics, with high quality and on-time availability
- Ensures that payer and healthcare needs are reflected into Phase 3b/4, RWE and integrated evidence plans
- Collaborates across divisions and functions to ensure effective integration of HEOR and payer evidence deliverables
- Partners closely with Regional and Country teams to design and oversee rollout of global HEOR and payer-evidence strategies
- Interacts with payers and relevant customer groups in priority countries
Requirements:
- An advanced degree (Master’s or doctorate) in health economics, statistics, epidemiology, health policy or related field is required
- Fluent English – Oral and written
- 7+ years’ experience in the pharma or healthcare sector, preferably in health economics, market access or related functions/fields is required
- Substantial experience in shaping HEOR and RWE strategy and hands-on execution supporting inline and pipeline products is required
- Experience engaging or partnering with external organizations (e.g., SOCs, payers, universities, value assessors, regulatory agencies, etc.) is strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of Health Economics, Outcomes Research, and Real-World Evidence including study design, methodologies, modeling, data sources and analyses is required
- Deep knowledge of US healthcare financing and delivery system, US payer environment, evolving trends and competitive landscape is required
