Job Description
Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Quantum-Si overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial projects while collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead and oversee the quarterly and annual budgeting process
- Maintain monthly reporting package
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning
- Provide insightful analysis of financial performance and key performance indicators
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on financial goals
- Work closely with leadership to understand value drivers to the business
- Manage business budgeting and planning software, Adaptive Planning
- Create new html Adaptive reports and office connect reporting
- Partner with R&D to create business plans and ROI
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting tools, and systems
- Support accounting team on month-end closing
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
- 15 years of progressive experience in finance related roles
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Biotech or healthcare industry experience
- Strong analytical and modeling skills
- Ability to see big picture but detail oriented
- Strong understanding of Netsuite
- Mastering of Adaptive Planning and Budgeting
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative style
- MBA or CFA certification (ideally)
