Job Description
Head of Financial Controlling overseeing financial reporting and planning for an international company. Leading projects and collaborating with executives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of forecasts, reports and presentations as well as ad-hoc analyses and evaluations, including commentary, for the Executive Board and Supervisory Board
- Primary responsibility for KPIs and quarterly projections
- Medium-term planning for group companies at home and abroad and preparation of the 3-year plan
- Preparation of the cash flow statement and key financial metrics for the AG in the context of the annual financial statements (HGB)
- Active involvement in the preparation of consolidated financial statements under HGB/IFRS
- Establishment and further development of controlling, KPI systems and financial reporting under HGB/IFRS
- Act as the contact person for external inquiries from auditors at home and abroad and work closely with internal departments
Requirements:
- Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Controlling or a comparable commercial qualification with further training as a certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Several years of professional experience in Financial Controlling, preferably in an international company, and prior leadership experience
- A structured working style and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); ideally experienced with DATEV (Rechnungswesen Pro and IDLKONSIS) or equivalent accounting software
- Enjoyment of managing projects and driving process optimizations
- Good written and spoken English completes your profile
