Job Description
Director of Sales Operations overseeing operational infrastructure for Ryze’s retail and marketplace growth. Leading strategic initiatives to ensure the business scales efficiently and profitably.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own the sales operations strategy
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to Sales and Ops leadership
- Build and continuously improve the operational infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and 3PLs
- Proactively identify systemic risks and drive structural solutions
- Own the strategic relationships with brokers, key retail partners, and 3PLs
- Define and enforce standards for pricing, promotions, assortments, and partner accountability
- Lead resolution of escalated commercial issues
- Define the metrics framework that governs how Ryze measures commercial health
- Lead executive-level business reviews
- Build and own a scalable analytics capability
- Own Ryze’s Sales Operations role in the S&OP process
- Hold cross-functional teams accountable for forecast accuracy
- Shape demand assumptions based on deep account-level intelligence
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy over time
- Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Operations team
Requirements:
- 10+ years in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or Revenue Operations, with demonstrated career progression into senior leadership.
- Proven track record of building or scaling a sales operations function in a high-growth CPG or consumer brand environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders and contribute meaningfully to strategic commercial decisions.
- Strong people leadership experience — able to hire, develop, and inspire a high-performing team.
- Advanced analytics capability — designs measurement frameworks and draws strategic insight, not just runs reports.
- Track record of driving operational transformation and process improvement at scale.
- Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where structure must be built, not just followed.
