Job Description
Welocalize patent translator converting Biology and Chemistry documents from English to Japanese. Delivering over 5,000 words weekly using XTM and Trados CAT tools.
Responsibilities:
- Translate Biology, Chemistry patent documents from English into Japanese while conveying the original meaning in a readable and understandable manner
- Support a patent translation project for English-to-Japanese content
- Use XTM and other CAT tools, including Trados
- Deliver a weekly volume of more than 5,000 words
- Provide prompt email responses
Requirements:
- Have strong experience of Patent Translation such as Biology, Chemistry.
- Native level fluency of Japanese
- At least 3-years' experience in translating patent
- Good at using CAT Tools, such as, XTM and Trados etc.
- Prompt responses on emails
- Ability to translate more than 5,000 words per week
