Job Description
Spanish-English Medical Interpreter providing remote medical interpretation for INTELEX, a language services and outsourcing provider. Facilitating accurate patient-provider communication through simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely medical interpretation between patients and healthcare providers
- Perform simultaneous and consecutive interpreting
- Ensure proper use of medical terminology
- Facilitate clear and culturally appropriate communication in medical settings
- Facilitate critical communication in legal and medical scenarios
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 months of professional interpretation experience
- Proven expertise in Medical or Legal sectors
- Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments
- High level of listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills
- Professional, HIPAA compliant setup
- Wired USB headset with noise cancellation
- At least 10Mbps upload speed and 20 Mbps download speed
- Fluent in Spanish and English
