Job Description
Remote Mandarin-English consecutive interpreter providing accurate phone, meeting, and conference interpretation. Supporting confidential, HIPAA-compliant communication for Reviver Global.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, conferences, interviews, and more
- Listen carefully to the speaker in the source language and accurately convey the message in the target language
- Facilitate communication between individuals speaking different languages
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity
- Respect HIPAA requirements and comply with Reviver Global policies and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English
- For non-native Mandarin speakers: HSK Level 5 or 6 certification is required; certificate validity: 2 years
- Proof of English language proficiency with a "Technical Proficiency" rating under the national ILR scale or equivalent
- Completion of a Mock Call assessment with a passing score
- Criminal background check in English
- Technical infrastructure including a headset, stable internet connection, and laptop
- Must be 18 years or older
