Job Description
Remote Mandarin-English interpreter providing real-time phone interpretation through Kreato Global’s language services. Paid training included; Mandarin fluency and C1/C2 English required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide complete and precise real-time interpretation over the phone between Mandarin and English
- Uphold strict confidentiality, impartiality, and a professional code of ethics
- Listen attentively to nuances and convey messages clearly and effectively
- Adhere to company protocol and deliver exceptional service quality
- Prepare thoroughly for assigned sessions and continuously refine interpreting skills
Requirements:
- Native Mandarin Chinese speaker
- C1/C2 English proficiency
- Excellent listening comprehension, mental agility, and interpersonal communication
- Ability to capture and convey meaning accurately without omissions or alterations
- High reliability, punctuality, strong attention to detail, and professionalism
- Flexibility to work designated shift hours aligned with PST
- Availability for 3 weeks of paid training, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM PST
- Prior customer service, call center, administrative, or teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Must complete the online application form and required screening questions
