Job Description
Remote Spanish consecutive interpreter providing on-demand phone interpretation for Reviver Global. Bridging language gaps across calls, meetings, conferences, and interviews while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, conferences, interviews, and other situations
- Listen to speakers in the source language and accurately convey messages in the target language
- Facilitate communication between speakers of different languages
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout interpretation
- Respect HIPAA and comply with Reviver's protocols, policies, and client requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience or 3,000 hours of active interpretation
- Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target languages)
- Proof of English language proficiency with a “technical proficiency” on the national ILR rating or equivalent
- Completion of Mock Call assessment with passing score
- Updated resume showing relevant interpretation experience
- Criminal background check in English
- Technical infrastructure to support interpretation assignments: headset, stable internet, and laptop
- Respect HIPAA and comply with Reviver's protocols, policies, and industry best practices
- Interpretation standards established by IMIA, CCHI, and NCIHC
