Job Description
Entrepreneur in Residence/Product Lead turning agentic AI into workplace products at JetBrains. Validating customers, experiments, and commercialization with a technical founder and engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Define product and venture strategy, including key uncertainties and what to test and build first
- Conduct continuous customer discovery into workplace workflows, pain points, and behaviors
- Identify the ideal customer profile and initial growth use cases
- Design and run experiments, prototypes, and agentic experiences to test hypotheses
- Establish metrics and evaluate commercial and behavioral evidence to guide iteration, investment, or pivots
- Shape positioning, messaging, and early acquisition or sales motions
- Monitor market shifts, agent architectures, and competitor developments
- Collaborate with the technical founder and engineering team to turn ideas into shipped prototypes
- Establish validated customer profiles and high-value use cases through user evidence
- Build an experimental cadence and help ship agentic AI experiences adopted by users and organizations
Requirements:
- Track record of taking products or ventures from initial ambiguity to launch and early market adoption
- Hands-on experience building, launching, or experimenting with AI/agentic products or emerging technologies
- Demonstrated experience in early customer acquisition, founder-led sales, positioning, or commercialization
- Experience in L&D, coaching, sales enablement, HR tech, or behavior-change products
- Technical fluency to evaluate agentic workflows and work directly alongside software engineers
- End-to-end ownership across strategy, discovery, product development, and go-to-market strategy
- Builder mindset favoring quick prototypes and direct learning
- Curiosity about how people build new skills and navigate challenging workplace interactions
- Comfort with high autonomy, speed, and decision-making under uncertainty
- Strong discovery skills distinguishing genuine demand and observed behavior from polite validation
- Clear, direct communication skills for senior decision-makers
- Strong collaboration with engineering teams on AI-native products
