Job Description
Estimator/Contracts Administrator providing project support to an Australian construction company. This role involves estimating costs, managing contracts, and performing administrative tasks remotely from the Philippines.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate quotes and estimates for projects.
- Assist with lead qualification and follow-up on inquiries.
- Support sales and production teams by providing timely cost data and documentation.
- Enter and track invoices against project budgets.
- Maintain contract records and ensure compliance with company processes.
- Support contract documentation and communications with stakeholders.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including document management, data entry, and correspondence.
- Assist with scheduling, filing, and office organization.
- Provide general support to the management team as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in estimating, contracts administration, or a similar administrative role (construction or concrete industry experience a plus)
- Experience completing detailed steel, concrete, and formwork take-offs/quantities for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Strong understanding of concrete project workflows (e.g., raft slabs, suspended slabs)
- Ability to prepare detailed BOQs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu preferred, but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers and documentation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
