Job Description
Freelance Sofar Singles Event Promoter launching and growing singles events in your city. Creating authentic community experiences through music and connection in unique venues.
Responsibilities:
- Launch and grow Sofar’s singles programming in your city
- Curate event experiences that maximize opportunities for authentic connections
- Identify and reach key audience segments to ensure diverse event attendees
- Work with local organizations to promote shows and build community
- Support financial performance by tracking profitability and growth of programming
- Collaborate with other local leaders to amplify Sofar’s brand awareness
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in live event curation, production, promotions, social media marketing, sales, and/or partnerships
- Strong intuition about activities, environments, and icebreakers for singles events
- Ability to create a genuinely welcoming atmosphere
- Deep connections to the local scene and active community builder
- Understanding of local dating/social culture and audience segmentation
- Frequent event-goer with a strong network for organizing events
- Adaptable, reflective, and feedback-driven
- Commercially minded with strong programming and promotion skills
- Professionalism, ownership, and hospitality in all interactions
- Highly organized and clear communicator
