Job Description

Events & Community Lead managing Vendelux's events portfolio and building an engaged community of marketing professionals. Overseeing designs, execution, and growth of event strategies in the B2B landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full Vendelux event portfolio end-to-end: design, plan, execute, and iterate on various event formats
  • Design unforgettable events: unique and impressive for event professionals
  • Drive attendance and engagement: smart invite strategies, pre-event motions, and follow-ups
  • Visible leadership in the event marketing world: active participation in communities
  • Manage a dedicated space for event & marketing community: curating programming and sparking conversation
  • Content creation: Source and manage speakers & influencers for events and webinars
  • Report and learn: Measure performance of events and community and refine the playbook

Requirements:

  • 6+ years in events or field marketing for a B2B company
  • Existing network of event, field, and marketing peers
  • Comfort with public visibility: hosting sessions, moderating panels, posting publicly
  • End-to-end program ownership: concept, content, logistics, promotion, follow-up
  • Detail oriented and expert in project management
  • Proven track record of managing multiple vendors, agencies, contractors simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Bias for action and quick decision making
