Job Description
Field-based oncology sales representative promoting Johnson & Johnson cancer therapeutics across South Texas. Managing accounts, clinical value discussions, reimbursement support, and territory sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Sell current and potential new oncology therapeutics within approved specialties and accounts
- Demonstrate product clinical efficacy knowledge and articulate customer value propositions
- Provide clinical support and information as needed
- Achieve sales objectives
- Conduct business analysis and prospect for new business within assigned accounts
- Develop account strategies with the District Manager and internal partners
- Identify key accounts and develop penetration plans
- Develop customer-specific pre- and post-call plans with objectives, probes, and approved materials
- Penetrate new and current accounts to increase territory sales
- Use company-approved marketing tools and resources, including computer-generated presentations
- Use closing skills to advance sales opportunities
- Discuss access and reimbursement options compliantly with customers
- Negotiate sales and close orders
- Report to a District Manager as a field-based Oncology Sales Specialist
Requirements:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
- Minimum of two (2) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience, or recently transitioned from Active Duty Military
- Residing in the geography or willing to relocate to it
- Preferred: Specialty sales experience and understanding of the Solid Tumor and Oncology market
- Preferred: Experience in hospital and large account sales, complex reimbursement issues, Medicare Part D, and documented successful sales performance in a competitive environment
- Preferred: Commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI
- Preferred skills include clinical experience, communication, cross-functional collaboration, customer centricity, data savviness, partnership development, hematology, market knowledge, oncology, performance measurement, pharmaceutical industry knowledge, pharmaceutical sales marketing, problem solving, product knowledge, relationship building, sales, sales projections, sales trend analysis, and strategic sales planning
