Job Description

Johnson & Johnson oncology representative selling head-and-neck therapeutics across New York City, Long Island, and northern New Jersey. Managing accounts, clinical support, reimbursement discussions, and sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics within approved specialties and accounts
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of product clinical efficacy, articulate customer value propositions, provide clinical support/information, and achieve sales objectives
  • Conduct business analysis and prospect for new business within assigned accounts
  • Develop account strategies with the District Manager and internal partners
  • Develop customer-specific pre- and post-call plans
  • Penetrate new and current accounts to increase sales in the assigned territory
  • Utilize approved marketing tools and resources, including computer-generated presentations
  • Discuss access and reimbursement options with customers compliantly
  • Negotiate sales and close orders to meet sales objectives
  • Report to a District Manager as a field-based Oncology Sales Specialist

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
  • Minimum of two (2) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic / biotech, or medical device sales experience or recently transitioned from Active Duty Military
  • Residing in the geography or be willing to relocate to it
  • Specialty sales experience and an understanding of the Solid Tumor and Oncology market
  • Experience in hospital and large account sales, handling complex reimbursement issues, Medicare Part D, and documented history of successful sales performance in a competitive environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time
