Job Description
Field-based oncology sales representative selling head-and-neck therapeutics across Sacramento–Portland and Las Vegas territories. Driving account strategy, clinical value communication, reimbursement discussions, and sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics within approved specialties and accounts
- Demonstrate working knowledge of products’ clinical efficacy
- Articulate value propositions for customers
- Provide clinical support and information as needed
- Achieve sales objectives
- Conduct business analysis and prospect for new business within assigned accounts
- Develop account strategies with the District Manager and internal partners
- Develop customer-specific pre- and post-call plans with objectives, probes, and approved materials
- Penetrate new and current accounts to increase sales in the assigned territory
- Utilize company-approved marketing tools and resources, including computer-generated presentations
- Use closing skills to move sales to the next step
- Discuss access and reimbursement options compliantly with customers
- Negotiate sales and close orders to meet sales objectives
- Report to a District Manager
Requirements:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
- Minimum of two (2) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic / biotech, or medical device sales experience or recently transitioned from Active Duty Military
- Residing in the geography or be willing to relocate to it
- Specialty sales experience and an understanding of the Solid Tumor and Oncology market
- Experience in hospital and large account sales
- Experience handling complex reimbursement issues and Medicare Part D
- Documented history of successful sales performance in a competitive environment
- Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI
- Must complete country-specific checks before starting the role
