Job Description
Field Clinical Specialist supporting Abbott’s electrophysiology products, including 3D mapping and catheters, across Ruhrgebiet hospitals. Delivering clinical training, procedural support, troubleshooting, and customer studies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical and technical support for the electrophysiology product portfolio, focusing on 3D mapping, catheters, and sheaths used to treat cardiac arrhythmias
- Conduct product training sessions in hospitals
- Provide on-site consultation, guidance, and support regarding indications, patient selection, and product selection during procedures
- Increase the use of Abbott products during procedures
- Present new products and demonstrate their potential applications
- Initiate customer training sessions to ensure optimal use of the EnSite system
- Initiate studies with customers in coordination with the Clinical Research Department
- Troubleshoot the system, with support from internal technicians, Support, or relevant specialists as needed
- Take internal hospital processes into account
- Support marketing campaigns and product evaluations in accordance with the Marketing Department’s direction
- Provide medical and clinical customer support in close coordination with regional team and sales management
- Field-based role with 75% travel
Requirements:
- Training in a scientific, medical, or technical profession; a university degree is not required
- General knowledge of medical technology and medicine is an advantage
- Initial experience in cardiology is preferred but not required
- Good English skills
- Very good German skills
- Good IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong organizational and self-management skills
- High level of empathy
- Calm, balanced, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Fully flexible and available to travel, including at short notice
- A valid driving license recognized in Germany
