Job Description
Field Service Engineer repairing and maintaining Tunstall’s health and care technology in customers’ homes. Testing alarms, nursecall, fire, access, and electronic systems across Merseyside.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality repair and maintenance services for company and third-party products
- Maintain and test Warden/Nursecall systems
- Maintain and test dispersed/social alarms
- Maintain and test door entry and access systems
- Maintain and test other electrical and electronic products
- Work with a variety of customers, including vulnerable and elderly people, in their homes
- Deliver services efficiently and professionally
- Work collaboratively as part of the One Tunstall team
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Field Engineer
- Electrical and electronic expertise maintaining and testing products
- Electrical/Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Full Category B UK driving license for manual vehicles
- Experience of testing Fire Systems
- Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective team-working ability
- Effective time management and planning skills
- Comfortable working at heights and/or in confined dusty spaces
- Experience working with elderly or vulnerable people
