Job Description
Field Service Technician performing electro-mechanical duties related to BW Converting equipment installation and customer training in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electro-mechanical work in a computer-based environment, assisting and troubleshooting with engineers.
- Test, install, start-up and demonstrate BW Converting equipment.
- Train customers on the operation and maintenance of this equipment.
- Report quality issues and take corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.
- Create and sustain a safety environment that promotes safety mindset and adheres to safety policies.
Requirements:
- An Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field is required.
- B.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology is preferred.
- 18 years old at the time of hire to operate equipment.
- A strong mechanical and/or electrical skill set is required.
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
