Job Description
Field Support Specialist supporting Aspire General Insurance claims through Bay Area field investigations. Gathering evidence, verifying facts, documenting scenes, and assisting adjusters with claim resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person visits to locate and contact unresponsive parties
- Obtain recorded statements from witnesses and involved parties when authorized
- Verify residency, occupancy, and other claim-related information
- Assist in confirming facts surrounding losses and reported incidents
- Help locate witnesses and verify identities
- Perform scene inspections and document observations
- Photograph vehicles, property damage, accident scenes, and other claim-related locations
- Assist with obtaining surveillance footage from nearby businesses, residences, or other sources
- Document findings and submit reports, photos, and field notes in a timely manner
- Deliver documents or claim-related checks and obtain required signatures
- Visit medical facilities to retrieve records or verify provider activity and licensing information
- Complete additional field assignments requested by Claims Adjusters or Investigators
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality during all interactions
- Represent Aspire positively with customers, witnesses, businesses, medical offices, and community members
- Provide responsive support that enhances the customer and claimant experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel frequently within an assigned territory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain professional and composed during challenging interactions
- Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in the field
- Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, cameras, and mobile applications
- Experience in insurance, investigations, customer service, field operations, security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred
- Experience collecting documentation, photographs, or field observations preferred
- Requires walking, standing, driving, and working in varying weather conditions
- Ability to handle sensitive or challenging situations with professionalism and diplomacy
