Job Description
Finance Analyst managing financial processes and reports for Podean, a leading marketplace agency. Supporting day-to-day accounting and collaborating with global finance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, clean, and post day-to-day journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments.
- Ensure the general ledger is maintained, updated, and accurate.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Assisting FP&A with granular and financial statement inquiries.
- Draft and send invoices to clients and/or draft bills received from vendors.
- Consolidation & sending of documents (invoices/payment proof/bank statement).
- Support the integration of systems, processes, and reporting structures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any equivalent courses and has experience working on US GAAP.
- CPA title is a plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably with experience in external and/or internal audit, or an accounting firm
- Has experience in using accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho.
- Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets expertise
- Familiar with all Microsoft Office applications and the Google Workspace
- Ability to dissect and comprehend legal agreements between Podean and an external entity, whether clients or vendors.
- Can reconcile external documentation and company records to ensure that transactions match and resolve any discrepancies.
- Can make adjustments as needed, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.
- Has experience in intercompany reconciliation.
- Can comprehend essential financial statements like the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
