Job Description
Marketing Finance Manager overseeing budgets, forecasting, and ROI for Twilio’s global communications platform. Partnering with Marketing leadership to optimize multi-million-dollar investments and profitable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Marketing’s total OPEX budget, including headcount/payroll modeling and PO-level program spend tracking across 10 Marketing functions
- Drive strategic financial planning, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial modeling across the Marketing organization
- Lead in-quarter budget pacing and reallocate uncommitted funds to high-priority initiatives
- Partner with Accounting on month-end accruals and close processes
- Coordinate with Procurement/Sourcing on PR and PO workflows
- Execute financial analyses, ROI evaluations, and decision support for marketing programs, vendor renewals, and organizational changes
- Modernize forecasting workflows using FP&A systems, data analytics, and automation tools
- Support Twilio’s global Marketing organization as a trusted finance partner
- Drive operational budget management and strategic decision support across a multi-million-dollar program budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of progressive corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance experience
- Experience in a high-growth technology or enterprise SaaS environment ideally
- Experience managing high-volume OPEX program budgets ($50M+)
- Experience with complex PO tracking, vendor accruals in accordance with US GAAP, and headcount forecasting across multi-functional teams
- Ability to work independently with Director- and VP-level senior leaders
- Ability to drive budget accountability and explain financial concepts concisely
- Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel/Google Sheets
- Hands-on experience with enterprise FP&A platforms such as Anaplan, Pigment, or Adaptive
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or NetSuite
- Experience with HCM/recruiting systems such as Workday or Greenhouse
- Direct FP&A experience supporting Marketing or GTM functions desired
- Experience modernizing financial workflows, automating manual tasks, and using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or AI-assisted financial tools desired
- Ability to translate marketing and sales performance metrics into business growth and ROI desired
