Job Description
Senior Finance Manager overseeing broker and technology partner commissions at CVS Health. Ensuring accurate payments, calculation systems, reconciliations, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage broker and technology partner commission payments
- Oversee commission calculations, payment systems, and broker relationship management
- Ensure accurate and timely commission payments
- Develop and maintain commission calculation systems
- Respond to broker inquiries and resolve payment issues
- Monitor payment accuracy and reconciliation
- Maintain documentation of commission agreements
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Technology teams
- Implement process improvements for efficiency
Requirements:
- 7+ years working experience
- Experience managing commission payment processes or ownership of F&A responsibilities
- Advanced Excel skills
- Python experience
- Ability to develop and implement commission calculation methodologies
- Experience with broker compensation agreements and contract terms or ability to learn on own quickly
- Experience with process improvement and automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for broker interactions
- Knowledge of commission payment platforms and systems
- Strong understanding of broker compensation structures and payment systems, specifically for voluntary benefits including Group Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity
- Experience handling broker inquiries and resolving payment disputes
- Understanding of broker of record (BOR) changes and implications
- Background in operations or financial processing
- Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements
- Experience partnering with sales teams and understanding sales compensation structures
- Proficiency in commission management systems and financial software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience
