Job Description
Financial Accountant supporting high quality financial reporting and compliance activities. Collaborating with senior finance leaders and ensuring timely deliverables with strong data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Support monthly and quarterly financial close activities including accruals, prepayments, provisions, and journal preparation
- Perform revenue recognition reviews and reconcile deferrals, WIP, and milestone billing
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across group entities
- Manage inventories, tangible and intangible assets, depreciation, and amortisation
- Assist in preparing VM monthly and quarterly financial reporting packs
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and pricing support to management
- Help document, review, and improve finance processes, policies, and procedures
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CA, CPA, CIMA or ACCA qualification (or near completion) preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting or financial reporting role
- Strong understanding of accounting standards including IFRS
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities
- Proficient in accounting systems and MS Office applications
- Adaptable, self motivated, and able to work both independently and with a team
