Job Description
FP&A Analyst responsible for planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes at Binary Defense. Involved in data management and operational decision making through financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Performs quantitative analysis and reporting of operational and financial data
- Builds and manages financial models by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources
- Prepares financial reports for internal use at the company by collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting information in an organized manner
- Analyzes product and customer margins and performance
- Evaluates ROI of new projects and investment opportunities
- Collaborates across finance team and organization on systems implementation and best practices
- Other projects and responsibilities, as assigned by the direct manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting
- 3-5 years combined financial analysis/FP&A experience, including experience creating financial models.
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems and data management platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong Excel and IT Systems skills
- Inquisitive mindset
- Strong presentation creation skills
