Job Description
Freelance copywriters and editors localizing Korean shows and movies into English synopses for global streaming platforms. Reviewing content, implementing feedback, and delivering 5–10 titles weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Watch Korean shows and movies in Korean
- Write or edit English synopses for Korean shows and movies
- Craft and refine synopses for a major streaming platform
- Implement feedback through multiple rounds of review
- Produce 5–10 titles per week
- Collaborate with clients and global creative production teams
Requirements:
- Native English speaker
- High level of Korean language
- Live in Korea
- 2 years of professional copywriting or editing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Portfolio or work samples
- Preferred: Experience writing and/or editing synopses of shows or movies
- Preferred: Comfortable working on JIRA, an asset management tool
