Job Description
Freelance visual designer creating branded websites, landing pages, and digital experiences for Berlin Bytes, a creative software development and consulting agency. Translating brand identities into scalable web design.
Responsibilities:
- Design visually compelling websites, landing pages, and digital touchpoints
- Translate brand identities into scalable digital design
- Define or apply visual systems across typography, colour, layout, and imagery
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, developers, and stakeholders
- Prepare clean design files and assets for smooth implementation
- Support consistency and quality across branded digital experiences
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Visual Designer, Brand Designer, or Digital Designer
- Strong portfolio showing branding applied to web and digital
- Excellent visual craft across typography, composition, and layout
- Understanding of responsive digital design
- Ability to create work that is both creative and practical to implement
- Strong spoken and written English
- German language skills (nice-to-have)
- Motion design or animation skills (nice-to-have)
- Experience with premium brand, campaign, or editorial-style web design (nice-to-have)
- Experience in agency or consulting environments (nice-to-have)
- Portfolio link required for application
- Short introduction mentioning day rate (8h) and/or hourly rate required
- Availability and time zone required
