Job Description

Mid-level Brand Designer scaling QIMA’s global testing and certification brand. Creating cross-channel assets, design systems, and marketing communications for international teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen and scale QIMA’s brand across global marketing, communications, and commercial touchpoints
  • Deliver day-to-day design across brand, digital, social, presentations, press materials, event assets, covers, image editing, and templates
  • Collaborate on QIMA’s design system by building and extending templates, guides, and components
  • Adapt the design system for new tools, brands, formats, and use cases while maintaining consistency and usability
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose improved ways of working
  • Create polished, on-brand assets supporting campaigns, launches, demand generation, and stakeholder communications
  • Work autonomously from briefs and clarify requirements, audiences, and outcomes when needed
  • Partner with the Senior Brand Designer on complex, high-priority projects
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders on briefs, timelines, feedback, and revisions
  • Grow into leading design intake and prioritisation

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a brand or graphic design role
  • Ideally including in-house or corporate experience
  • Multidisciplinary design experience across brand, digital, presentations, social, and print
  • Portfolio showing how design work connects to business outcomes such as brand launches, campaigns, demand generation, or commercial communications
  • Able to work autonomously from a brief without step-by-step direction
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva
  • Fluent use of AI-assisted design and content workflows
  • Claude and ChatGPT are non-negotiable
  • Quick to adopt new tools as the stack evolves
  • Comfortable working inside a design system and helping make it more useful over time
  • Flexible and solution-oriented when working with constraints and shifting priorities
  • Self-organised and reliable with commitments, timelines, and follow-through
  • Curious and research-minded, with interest in the audience and business problem
  • Comfortable communicating directly with stakeholders, asking questions, collaborating, challenging ideas, and raising concerns early
  • Professional English required
