Job Description
General Accountant (m/f/d) handling accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, tax filings and financial closings. Fully remote role with part-time flexibility; close collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts receivable, including invoicing and receivables management
- Payroll accounting
- Maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger
- Handling operational tax matters (e.g., VAT, filings, reports)
- Support with monthly and annual financial closings
- Close collaboration with internal departments and external partners (e.g., tax advisors)
Requirements:
- A degree in business administration or a comparable commercial qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting (ideally with an understanding of how manufacturing companies operate)
- Further qualifications (e.g., tax specialist, certified accountant) are a plus
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (preferably Microsoft Business Central)
- Excellent German and good English skills
