Job Description

Grants & Contracts Administrator responsible for managing grant applications and compliance at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Collaborating with teams for proposal documents, budgets, and financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support/coordinate management of grants and sponsored programs
  • Read, interpret, disseminate and apply federal and other sponsor guidelines
  • Coordinate with members from research teams, sponsor institutions and other teams
  • Manage negotiation of standard terms and conditions
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within the team
  • Contribute to the development, preparation, revision, and finalization of project budgets
  • Serve as a liaison between centralized institutional grant and legal offices
  • Verify documentation of expenditures are consistent with SJCRH policies and grant limitations
  • Manage financial processes for the grants and any associated subcontracts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in financial administration processes as applicable to grants and sponsored programs
  • Experience in relevant regulations as applicable to grants and sponsored programs
  • Some experience coordinating with cross-functional teams
  • Prior Workday experience strongly preferred
  • Strong NIH experience is highly desired.
