Job Description
Growth Lead driving utilization of industry-leading genomic products in pediatric and adult specialist markets. Evolving commercial strategy and enhancing customer engagement as market leader.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the commercial sales strategy for your assigned business area, in alignment with overall company goals.
- Own and report on volume snapshots, pipeline health, and key performance metrics.
- Partner with marketing to design and launch targeted campaigns, educational programs, and research initiatives.
- Be a key stakeholder and driver to ensuring a best-in-class experience from initial engagement through ongoing support.
- Lead collaborations, continuing medical education (CME) initiatives, and partnership programs to drive growth and engagement.
- Work directly with the sales team to translate strategic insights into practical plans, training, and execution.
- Continuously assess program and campaign performance, identifying what is and isn’t working, and pivot strategies as needed.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and advocate for your business area, both internally and externally.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across teams.
- Maintain a forward-thinking, competitive mindset—always seeking ways to keep GeneDx at the forefront of the industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial strategy, sales leadership, or general management, ideally within healthcare, diagnostics, pharma or life sciences.
- Experience with sales within specialty markets considered an asset.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of genomic medicine.
