Job Description
Head of Americas Talent Acquisition leading recruiting strategy, teams, and operations for Agilent, a global life sciences and laboratory technology company. Driving scientific, engineering, commercial, and operations hiring across the Americas.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Americas talent acquisition strategy and translate business goals and headcount plans into an executable hiring roadmap
- Lead, coach, and develop Lead TA Partners, Senior TA Partners, and TA Partners
- Build a high-performance, inclusive team culture aligned with One Agilent values
- Advise executives and hiring leaders on org design, market intelligence, compensation trends, and specialized talent availability
- Partner with Finance and HR leadership on workforce planning, capacity modeling, and hiring prioritization
- Drive delivery against volume, niche scientific/technical, and executive hiring targets
- Personally lead select senior searches
- Improve recruiting processes, interviewer training, and candidate experience
- Define and report on talent acquisition metrics and use data to drive decisions
- Own the regional TA technology stack and vendor/agency relationships and budgets
- Build talent pipelines through university partnerships, early-career programs, industry associations, and scientific communities
Requirements:
- 10+ years of talent acquisition experience
- 4+ years leading and scaling recruiting teams
- Experience across multiple countries in the Americas ideally
- Track record of volume and senior-level hiring in life sciences, diagnostics, biotech, MedTech, scientific instrumentation, or technology sectors
- Experience recruiting specialized STEM talent, including scientists, engineers, and technical field/service roles
- Experience partnering with C-level and VP stakeholders on workforce planning and org design in a global, matrixed organization
- Strong analytical and business/candidate advisory fluency
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies, employer branding, structured interviewing, and modern recruiting tools
- Working knowledge of US employment and hiring compliance
- Experience in a regulated and/or federal contractor environment
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
- Familiarity with Canadian and Latin American hiring practices strongly preferred
- Experience supporting Tech, Product, and AI talent pillars is nice to have
- Experience scaling hiring in Mexico, Brazil, or Canada is nice to have
- Experience with TA Advisor models and behaviors is nice to have
- Experience implementing or migrating an ATS and building TA analytics is nice to have
