Job Description
Remote HVAC/Refrigeration Project Manager leading equipment installations, retrofits, and maintenance programs. Managing multi-site retail and grocery construction for national brands.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multi-site projects, including equipment installation, system retrofits, and maintenance programs within active, operating stores
- Serve as the primary client-facing representative for project scopes
- Build strong relationships and ensure alignment across stakeholders
- Act as the owner's representative, coordinating between franchisees, general contractors, architects, and vendors
- Monitor project progress to ensure schedule, budget, quality, and safety goals are achieved
- Review construction documents, scopes of work, and contractor proposals
- Manage change orders, budgets, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Lead punch list completion and project closeout
- Provide regular project reporting and proactive risk management
- Drive programs across retail and grocery environments for national brands
- Serve as an extension of the owner's organization across multiple active project sites
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of construction project management experience
- Experience in retail and/or grocery environments, particularly within active, operating stores
- Experience managing multi-site rollout or program-based construction
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong working knowledge of construction management platforms such as Procore, Smartsheet, Buildertrend, or similar
- Individual education, qualifications, and experience commensurate with compensation
