Job Description
Industrial Engineers evaluating AI-generated production systems, quality analyses, and workflows for Mercor. Improving frontier AI models through expert industrial-engineering feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate AI-generated production plans, process designs, quality analyses, and other industrial engineering artifacts for quality and accuracy
- Compare AI-generated responses head-to-head based on engineering rigor, process efficiency, and quality-control soundness
- Review industrial engineering scenarios involving production sequencing, cost analysis, quality standards, and logistics coordination
- Provide expert feedback to improve AI-generated industrial engineering content and workflows
- Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, Quality Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Operations Engineer, or closely related industrial engineering role
- Experience designing, developing, or evaluating integrated production systems including quality control, inventory control, logistics, cost analysis, or production coordination
- Ability to commit 20+ hours per week
- Strong written English communication skills
- Independent contractor engagement
- Applicants must not require H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship
