Job Description

Inside Sales Customer Success Manager selling laboratory service contracts and renewals for Thermo Fisher Scientific. Supporting customers across the Northwest while pursuing service-product revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell service products including warranty extensions, maintenance and service contracts, and qualifications
  • Implement promotional and sales actions
  • Provide intensive support to assigned customers in collaboration with Service Contract Specialists and Service leaders
  • Visit customers for contract negotiations within the assigned region as needed
  • Ensure timely contract renewals by tracking deadlines, developing proposals, and following up
  • Acquire and consult with existing and new customers for the sale of service products
  • Prepare sales reports, statistics, and forecast summaries as required
  • Use SAP, Cloud for Service (C4S), and Salesforce (SFDC) for quote creation, edits, and logging sales activities
  • Build and maintain long-term business relationships through meetings, phone, and email contacts
  • Identify, develop, and proactively pursue relevant leads to achieve annual and quarterly financial goals
  • Cover the North West territory

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Finance or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of sales experience with proven ability to qualify opportunities and close deals
  • Prior experience in similar roles (sales, telesales, sales administration) in a corporate/matrix organization preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • High level of organizational skills and self-discipline
  • High self-motivation, team spirit, flexibility, and a positive demeanor
  • Knowledge in instrumental analytics/life sciences
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office, SAP ERP, and CRM systems
  • Ability to travel to customer locations up to 25%, including overnight travel
