Job Description
Insurance Verification Specialist verifying client eligibility and coordinating benefits for ABA services. Collaborating with RCM department and ensuring detailed documentation for new and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Verify client eligibility and coordinate benefits for ABA services
- Obtain insurance benefits and eligibility by contacting payors
- Enter verification of benefits and eligibility information in Central Reach system
- Provide support to clinics in reviewing verification of benefits requests
- Collaborate with RCM teams and departments for issue escalation and solutions
- Identify critical issues and propose solutions
- Work on special projects and workflow optimization
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare verification of benefits preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills
- Self-starter who can work in an unstructured environment
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to develop effective working relationships within the RCM department and across the organization
