Job Description
Inventory Management Analyst maintaining stock levels and managing global buy processes in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. Collaborates with various departments to optimize inventory and mitigate shortages.
Responsibilities:
- Calculates the Company’s required buy to maintain the Company’s approved inventory targets including analysis of components such as forecast, minimum order quantities, etc.
- Monitors all inventory across the supply chain for allocation opportunities to support sales and mitigate out of stocks
- Identifies and escalates all items in the assortment at risk for shortages or overages
- Assist with special ad hoc projects as required
- Plays a role in developing new business processes to support inventory health
- Responsible for reviewing and presenting all reports related to inventory
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Inventory Management and Allocation in a complex, fast-paced, multi-channel environment
- Superior analytical, problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability
- Advanced experience using data management, analysis and visualization tools
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, Index/Match
- Systems including NetSuite and Toolio, not required but a plus
- Experience with advanced data science tools/languages, not required but a plus
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrates confidence working independently, maintaining focus, and staying on task to resolve exceptions and achieve objectives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, and drive results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work successfully in a cross functional environment.
