Job Description
Solution Architect for SAP Center of Excellence at Hitachi Energy. Ensuring SAP solutions align with business needs and delivering value for global projects.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the technical SAP solution architecture, ensuring alignment across modules and integrated applications
- Engage in requirements engineering to assess standard functionalities, enhancements, and acceptable workarounds
- Translate functional designs into technical specifications and validate use case documentation
- Collaborate with project owners, business functions, and third parties to prioritize and validate incoming business demands
- Establish rules, principles, and guidelines for technical solution development
- Ensure non-functional requirements and operational standards are incorporated into solution design
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry practices, bringing innovation into the SAP CoE
- Support cross-stream collaboration to develop optimized, end-user-focused solutions aligned with SAP standards and work closely with users to understand current procedures and clarify future requirements
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, including 8+ years in solution architecture with a focus on S/4HANA systems
- At least 5 years of experience in global projects within your domain of expertise
- Certification in S/4HANA functional area Source to Pay
- Experience with SAP ABAP programming and SAP ALE-IDOC (preferred)
- Strong ability to bridge business and IT, translating requirements into effective solutions
- Proven leadership in delivering business value through virtual teams
- Innovative mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo and support change
- Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
