Job Description

Junior IT Administrator managing device, account, and endpoint security lifecycles for Dash0’s OpenTelemetry-native observability platform. Supporting distributed employees across EMEA and multiple time zones.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision and de-provision accounts across the SaaS stack for every new hire and departure
  • Manage the full device lifecycle, including hardware ordering, MDM enrollment, international logistics, maintenance, and responsible recycling
  • Enforce endpoint security policies, including disk encryption, activation lock, and device compliance checks
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready access records and resolve discrepancies in serial numbers, license counts, and access logs
  • Execute end-to-end offboarding by revoking system access and coordinating hardware retrieval
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and hardware insurance
  • Audit invoices and forecast services
  • Support employees across time zones with IT issues, hardware needs, and access requests
  • Collaborate with the Head of Security and People Ops team

Requirements:

  • 0–2 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, systems administration, or a technical helpdesk role
  • Hands-on comfort with device management tools and the Google Workspace admin console, including user and group management
  • Working understanding of endpoint security concepts, including disk encryption, activation lock, and device compliance policies
  • Strong attention to detail regarding serial numbers, license counts, and access logs
  • Clear written English and ability to coordinate across time zones
  • Ability to manage many concurrent tickets and threads while remaining organized and self-directed
  • Hands-on experience with an MDM platform such as Jamf, Kandji, Fleet, or Intune
  • Exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001-style access review and audit processes
  • Basic scripting skills for automating repetitive provisioning or reporting tasks
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment
