Job Description
Ruby on Rails engineer improving SOFTSWISS’s online casino platform. Automating operations, resolving product issues, and strengthening backend reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and fix product issues with the professional team, focusing on preventing recurrence
- Automate manual and repetitive customer requests and routine operations
- Continuously deepen knowledge of supported products and expand into new technologies and domains
- Support and improve backend systems for operators and players across the Casino Platform
- Build internal tools and automation to streamline technical workflows and improve platform stability
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in development or L3 support
- Strong Ruby/RoR programming skills
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Exceptional abilities in investigating, debugging, analysis, and problem-solving
- Understanding of modern web architecture and networking concepts
- Familiarity with Linux, Bash, and Git
- Willingness to continuously self-develop and share knowledge with the team
- Intermediate or higher English and Russian (B1+)
- Awareness of modern AI tools
- Nice to have: Experience with logging systems like ELK, monitoring systems like Sentry and Datadog, and the ability to read log files or error traces
- Nice to have: Experience with event streaming systems and message brokers
- Nice to have: Experience in working with K8s
- Nice to have: Proficiency in automating routine tasks through scripting and/or other tools such as Jenkins/Airflow
- Nice to have: Experience with Root Cause Analysis processes
