Job Description
Junior National Account Manager growing FIJI Water’s premium bottled-water brand across UK grocery and distribution accounts. Managing commercial plans, negotiations, customer relationships and account growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow key grocery and distribution accounts, delivering against revenue, profit and distribution targets
- Develop, negotiate and deliver Joint Business Plans aligned with FIJI Water’s brand and sales strategy
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across grocery retailers and distribution partners
- Negotiate commercial agreements, annual trade terms and promotional plans
- Analyse account performance using Northstar, EPOS and other relevant data
- Work with global marketing to deliver in-store activations, point-of-sale campaigns and digital visibility
- Provide forecasts and demand planning inputs to support stock availability and promotional execution
- Build relationships with retail buyers and key decision-makers
- Support the Regional Sales Manager with grocery and distributor strategy, customer presentations and quarterly business reviews
- Track competitor activity and category trends, turning insights into recommendations
- Collaborate with finance, supply chain and marketing teams to deliver customer requirements
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of FMCG commercial or account management experience, ideally within beverages, premium FMCG or health and wellness
- Strong knowledge of the UK grocery retail market
- Experience managing Waitrose, Whole Foods or Holland & Barrett highly desirable
- Experience developing Joint Business Plans, negotiating commercial terms and managing annual trade agreements
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and manage sales, margins and promotional investment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn sales and category data into clear actions
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using data analysis tools such as Nielsen or IRI
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively across teams
- A degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred
