Job Description

L2 Endpoint Support Engineer maintaining SOFTSWISS’s global Windows/macOS infrastructure. Administering endpoint, identity, collaboration, automation, and security systems for distributed teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Windows/macOS infrastructure in distributed environments
  • Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Azure ID/Entra ID, Google Workspace, Slack, and related SaaS platforms
  • Administer and support endpoint management systems including Microsoft Intune and Kandji/Jamf/Iru
  • Automate routine administrative tasks using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and AI-assisted workflows
  • Manage software deployment, device compliance, and identity and access management processes
  • Participate in infrastructure improvement initiatives, R&D, and implementation of new services and technologies
  • Maintain technical documentation and the knowledge base
  • Collaborate with vendors, security teams, and engineering teams to improve infrastructure reliability and security

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience at companies with 100+ employees and distributed offices, partially or fully remote
  • Expert knowledge of MS Windows Server and MS Active Directory
  • Basic Linux experience
  • Experience administering and supporting collaboration and endpoint management platforms such as Slack, Azure ID, and Google Workspace
  • Experience administering and supporting MDM platforms including Microsoft Intune and Apple device management solutions such as Kandji, Iru, Jamf, or similar
  • Understanding of endpoint management, device compliance, software deployment, and identity/access management practices across Windows and macOS environments
  • Experience with monitoring and logging systems such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, Graylog, or ELK
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for infrastructure automation, scripting assistance, troubleshooting, and technical research
  • Daily routine automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Strong troubleshooting and cross-team communication skills
  • English B1+ sufficient for meetings with vendors’ technical support and sales/presales managers
  • Strong command of Russian
  • Higher technical education would be a plus
  • Experience with GitOps and CI/CD workflows such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions would be a plus
  • Experience supporting globally distributed teams and remote-first environments would be a plus
  • Experience with SSO/MFA solutions and identity providers, including OIDC/SAML protocols, would be a plus
