Job Description
Capital Projects Lead Cost Analyst applying skills to monitor and report project costs for infrastructure projects. Collaborating with project management and stakeholders to establish cost metrics and forecasts.
Responsibilities:
- Apply technical skills to meet project team and client needs for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting project cost performance
- Interface directly with project management, client management, and site personnel
- Implement project controls tools and methodology
- Support month end closing and phase gate processes
- Work with project stakeholders to establish cost baselines
- Develop project forecasts
- Review, explain basis for, and adjust project forecasts
- Monitor and analyze actual project costs
- Assemble supporting documentation to meet project team and client requests
Requirements:
- Familiarity with the practical application of project controls
- 10 or more years of project experience
- Post-secondary graduate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Eager to learn new skills and develop knowledge
- Committed to delivering high quality, accurate deliverables
- Working knowledge in MS Office tools
- Advanced use of MS Excel and/or PowerBI
- Working knowledge in SAP
