Job Description

Lead AI instructional design and enablement programs for CDW, a technology solutions provider. Developing scalable learning strategies, measuring business impact, and coaching instructional design teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise AI enablement initiatives for customer-facing coworkers, covering AI technical knowledge, solution positioning and selling, workforce productivity, and go-to-market readiness
  • Manage AI enablement programs, including needs assessment, feedback, prioritization, instructional design, and stakeholder communications
  • Provide strategic oversight for designing, developing, implementing, and measuring complex AI learning programs
  • Translate cross-functional business requirements into organizational improvement and learning solutions
  • Identify AI capability gaps and develop learning strategies with Sales, Solutions & Services, Revenue Operations, and executive stakeholders
  • Research and apply AI, learning technology, and industry best practices
  • Diagnose opportunities, recommend solutions, and improve organizational effectiveness
  • Develop and execute project management strategies for resource allocation, timelines, and business requirements
  • Measure learner skills, client satisfaction, adoption, proficiency, productivity, sales readiness, and business impact
  • Define success metrics and evaluate AI enablement program effectiveness
  • Present recommendations, project proposals, and business reviews to internal executive audiences
  • Mentor and coach instructional design team members and provide thought leadership
  • Evaluate and partner with external vendors or contractors when needed
  • Maintain curriculum reviews with subject matter experts
  • Lead project teams and direct instructional materials development
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and develop business case recommendations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in instructional design or a related field, or 11 years of equivalent instructional design or related experience
  • Current, in-depth knowledge of learning technologies, best practices, and trends
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools for learning operations, content development, learner experiences, and team productivity
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, generative AI tools, and business applications
  • Expertise in instructional design, adult learning theories, and evaluation methodologies
  • Experience leading large-scale learning, enablement, or workforce capability initiatives focused on AI, emerging technologies, or digital transformation
  • Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend training solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and influence stakeholders
  • Demonstrated time management, organization, and attention to detail
  • Experience working with sales and services organizations to increase revenue and profit performance
  • Experience leading AI-focused enablement programs for customer-facing teams
  • Ability to build productive cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and collaboration platforms
  • Up to 10% travel
