Job Description
Lead Systems Analyst managing projects through all phases of the system development life cycle for Cleveland Clinic Health System. Collaborating with IT teams to enhance patient care and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead automated system projects through all phases of the system development life cycle, including design, development, implementation, modification, planning, estimating, feasibility testing and evaluation of automated systems
- Lead IT projects, including planning, obtaining customer input and projecting resource requirements
- Review system requirements with customers and translate requirements into specific functions or deliverables
- Analyze flow chart processes and recommend ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency through use of technology
- Plan, schedule and manage multiple projects requiring computer resources including project scheduling
- Oversee and participate in day-to-day technical operations for eRadiology
- Primary point of escalation for complex technical issues
- Assist radiologists, technologists, and teleradiology clients with day-to-day technical support
- Manage/participate in eRadiology projects, including new telerad site builds and new implementations
- Support for networking infrastructure for outpatient imaging facilities
- PACS support
- RIS Support
- Provide regular status updates to informatics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Admin or related field and 6 years of system implementation experience, including directing, planning and scheduling a major information system project
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent and 9 years of experience OR Associate's Degree and 7 years of experience
- For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date
- Understands networking/distributed computing environment concepts
- Understands principles of client/server configuration
- Excellent knowledge of messaging technology and project management skills
- Strong analytical, administrative, presentation, and project management skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work independently.
