Job Description
Sales Manager responsible for leading Cisco’s public sector sales efforts in California and Nevada, driving revenue growth and managing a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow sales efforts for the State of California and Nevada
- Drive durable revenue growth and develop sales strategies
- Manage a team of sales professionals
- Foster strong customer and partner relationships
- Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions
- Engage specialist teams to enhance the sales process
- Build the sales funnel and drive opportunities through to sales completion
- Review business plans and forecasting data
- Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics
- Accountable for sales growth across multiple years for particular products or regions
- Coordinate joint planning sessions between partner, virtual, and field teams
Requirements:
- Bachelors + 12 years of related experience
- 2+ year of Leadership experience
- Tech start up experience - building a team and territory
