Job Description

Services Sales Specialist responsible for cultivating new business opportunities in the US Industrial Market with GE Vernova. Collaborating with product specialists and key account managers to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads on target market segments such as electric utilities, large industrials and renewable market, to develop new business leads
  • Convert existing leads and develop new leads on GEV Installed Base thru commercial campaigns defined by the Business Development Team
  • Schedule and deliver sales pitch to prospects customers
  • Manage the relationship with the channel partners community and Key Account Managers to coordinate sales efforts
  • Drive winning proposal strategy and process from request (RFQ) thru proposal and order
  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
  • Meet and/or exceed commercial order intake targets set for the US Industrial Market

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or industrial/electric transmission, distribution or generation/renewable market experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a direct sale, business development or commercial role
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time as required
  • Fluent in English
