Job Description

Legal Assistant specializing in intake and client communications supporting a law firm in elder law. Collaborating closely with clients to ensure effective communication and case management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide case updates and opportunities for client questions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Manage status-related communications between the firm and clients.
  • Send birthday cards and closing letters to clients.
  • Assist with intake processes and coordinate necessary documentation.
  • Handle general administrative tasks to support attorneys and paralegals.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience working as a legal assistant.
  • Someone comfortable taking calls.
  • Experience with Estate planning is preferred.
  • Software: Clio (mandatory), VoIP, MS Office Suite, and DesignVault.
