Job Description
Logistics and Supply Chain Manager leading procurement, inventory, transportation, and supplier operations. Driving efficiency, cost control, compliance, and resilient growth in a global remote-first organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics and supply chain strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Oversee strategic procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and supplier coordination
- Manage relationships and negotiations with suppliers, carriers, logistics providers, and other external partners
- Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, stock rotation, and replenishment requirements
- Analyze supply chain performance data and develop recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
- Identify operational risks and develop contingency plans to maintain supply chain continuity
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, safety requirements, and trade-related standards
- Lead, mentor, and support logistics and supply chain personnel
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate procurement requirements, deliveries, inventory, and operational priorities
- Evaluate and implement technology and systems that improve supply chain visibility, reporting, accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Lead continuous-improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain operations
- Support international logistics activities, customs requirements, and trade-compliance processes where applicable
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5–7+ years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management
- Demonstrated experience managing supply chain initiatives and delivering measurable operational results
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, demand planning, transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, or comparable supply chain technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to interpret operational and financial data
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable platforms
- Excellent negotiation, communication, relationship-management, and stakeholder-management skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to manage, mentor, and develop teams
- Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify risks, evaluate alternatives, and implement practical solutions
- International logistics, customs, and trade-compliance experience is highly desirable
